So here are my final designs for this Event poster competition organised by "They Eat Culture" that I entered (btw they might look odd but the space left is to allow text for the advertised event but I didn't want to include it for this post)

More sneak peeks of work I have been doing recently going very digital and trying to experiment with strong lighting and composition, as well as use simple shapes.

Sneak Preview

I'm working on a poster for a competition so I dont want to give everything away till the deadline but here is a sneak preview of what I've been working on all day. One thing that I have realised is that I need to work on my lighting and really think about where it comes from and what it affects and how to make it more dynamic.

Why is it?

Why is it when you have one idea you start playing around to get what you want and you end up at the complete other end of the spectrum of what you intended to do? oh....it’s called creativity! It always comes around when you least expect it

Handmade Typography trials

For Valentines day cards that will be on sale this week I've been playing around with hand made typography using brush and ink. I quite like this one.

Need a logo

Well I am currently trying to rewrite my CV and as always the question of branding came up. So I've been trying to come up with some kind of logo for my name..still very much in progress..
